We are loving our Split King bases. 5 Stars
We replaced a conventional mattress/box spring with these.
We installed them in our existing King size bed frame. The fit is very good, once I discovered the bed frame was not square.
Shipping:
The shipping container was damaged, the bases were not.
Installation of the first one:
1. We needed to only use three spacers. Hint don’t remove the felt adapter from the bottom spacer. Just take a spacer from the top. The felt adapter strips and will not screw back in.
2. The power hook-up doesn’t match the instruction booklet. The 9vdc battery adapter does not go inline. It replaces the AC power supply during power failures.
3. There are no wing nuts supplied as the mattress guides are friction fit. I used a small mallet to tap them in.
Installation of the second one:
Having learned the second one went fast. No issues.

Excellent & quiet platform bed. Mattress has a soft & firmer side.
FYI, the White glove service which was described as removal of old bedding, was not approved by Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery at the time of appointment scheduling.
So, my old mattress set was removed by College Hunks
Overall I’m pleased with the bed. I have an autoimmune disease in my spine and I also have severe acid reflux. I, quite literally, had not had a decent night’s sleep in years - so much so that I was falling asleep everywhere throughout the day and I found if I slept upright in a chair, I was able to sleep throughout the night - but in a chair I was stiff and sore. I tried adding pillows to sit upright in my prior bed, but I’d always end up laying flat. I saw reviews on the base and just decided to take the plunge on the adjustable base and 14" copper memory foam swaping out a traditional full mattress for a twin XL sleep science combo.
And now I’m sleeping through the night and wake up in same upright position I put myself in every night well rested with substantially less pain, and a sharp reduction in snoring and reflux.
I would repurchase in a heartbeat for the positive effects - but to balance that, here are the drawbacks or things Is wish I’d known before purchase.
1. Frame/Mattress combo is too tall - I’m 5’8” and I had to put a step stool next to bed - the legs are adjustable and can go down in size, but it will be a big hassle to remove bed and put frame on side to adjust
2. You can’t comfortably sit on edge of bed to get dressed, rest, or for any reason as the memory foam is very soft and droops down - I prefer a hard bed, but I can see how the soft is better with the adjustable base, but its still an annoyance
3. Twin XL sheets are very hard to find - and a fitted sheet pops off its edges easily as you reposition the bed. I will find some sheet suspenders, not a deal breaker, but again, an annoyance.
4. Having bed in a upright position makes side tables inaccessible and the remote is apt to easily get lost in sheets or get knocked off the bed, an attached remote or panel on the side of base would have been preferred to a non-captivated remote.
5. Massage timer maxes out at 30 minutes - right about just as I’m seriously drifting off, requiring me to find the remote and reset.
Again no deal breakers, but minor annoyances that require work arounds - I am pleased and would recommend to anyone who needs the adjustable base to accommodate non traditional sleep postures.
Sleep Science Q-Series Plus Tilt Adjustable Base
We love the Sleep Science Q-Plus Adjustable Bed we bought from Costco. It works very well with the remotes and iPhone App. Recently, I got it working with Alexa using "Adjustable Bed Voice Command - Alexa Enabled and Google Home" from Blissful Nights along with the Ananda Base App. It works very well once setup. Needs precise location for the App installation to work.
